The Jharkhand Sub-ordinate Service Commission (JSSC) has announced the release of the admit card for the Field Worker Combined Welfare Centre Entrance (JFWCE) examination 2026. The notification marked a significant milestone for lakhs of aspirants across the state who had been eagerly awaiting the document since the application window closed earlier this year.
Candidates who successfully completed their online registration can now access and download their hall tickets using their application number and date of birth. The admit card serves as a mandatory entry pass to the examination centres and contains essential details such as the candidate's name, photograph, exam centre allocation, date, and reporting time.
The commission has instructed all candidates to carefully verify the information printed on their admit cards before reporting to the examination venue. Any discrepancies in personal details or centre allocation must be reported to the JSSC helpline immediately for resolution.
The Field Worker recruitment exam is conducted to fill vacancies at the sub-centre level under various welfare schemes in Jharkhand. Field workers play a crucial role in implementing government health, nutrition, and social welfare programmes at the grassroots level, particularly through anganwadis and primary health centres across rural and semi-urban areas of the state.
The examination is expected to be held in June or July 2026, with the final date yet to be formally notified. The selection process includes a written objective-type test followed by document verification. Successful candidates will be posted as field-level functionaries responsible for data collection, awareness campaigns, and direct implementation of several flagship schemes of the Jharkhand government.
Authorities have urged candidates to carry a valid photo identity proof alongside their admit card on the examination day. Printed copies of the admit card are acceptable, and candidates are advised to carry two copies to avoid any last-minute issues.
