According to senior police officials, video footage recovered from nearby cameras clearly captured the accused driving his vehicle directly into the woman's bike. The clarity of the recordings led investigators to conclude that the collision was not accidental but intentional, prompting them to add sections pertaining to attempt to murder under the Indian Penal Code to the case diary. In a developments that surprised investigators, the primary accused, identified as Kalyan Singh Bainsla, reportedly made a public statement to the media shortly before vanishing. He has since been arrested along with his cousin, identified as Lavish, who is also believed to have played a role in the incident.
