The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has initiated a fresh round of recruitment for the post of Staff Selection Committee (SSC) Executives under the State Trade Institute (STI) framework for the year 2024. The SSC Executive role is a Group C position that falls under the administrative setup of government institutions and training centres operating in Gujarat. Recruits at this level are typically responsible for assisting in the coordination of trade-related examinations, maintaining office records, managing correspondence, and supporting the operational workflow of affiliated trade institutes.
As per the notification, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university as the minimum educational qualification. Some reservations apply for candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, and economically weaker sections, as per Gujarat state government norms. The upper age limit generally stands at 35 years for the general category, with relaxations available for reserved categories as applicable.
