Police in Madhya Pradesh have arrested four individuals, including a woman who is reportedly the wife of one of the accused, in connection with the murder of a farmer whose body was found under suspicious circumstances in a rural area. Authorities stated that the killing appeared to be carefully planned and was motivated by an alleged illicit relationship involving the woman.

According to police sources, the victim, identified as a local farmer in his late forties, was found dead near his residence early Monday morning. Initial investigations suggested that the deceased had some prior acquaintance with the woman, who has since been taken into custody along with three male accomplices. The police claim the四人 conspired to eliminate the farmer after their relationship was discovered or suspected by the victim's family members.

The investigation began when relatives of the deceased reported him missing, and his body was later discovered near the outskirts of the village. Forensic experts and the local crime branch were called in to examine the scene. Post-mortem reports are expected to reveal the exact cause and time of death.

A senior police officer said that the accused allegedly discussed the plan online and through phone calls before carrying out the attack. The man who allegedly masterminded the crime is understood to have had a long-standing affair with the woman, and tension rose when the farmer threatened to expose the relationship to their families and the community.

The accused have been produced before a local judicial magistrate, and police are continuing their probe to determine whether any other individuals were involved. The case has sent shockwaves through the village, with residents expressing outrage over the brutal nature of the crime.
