Delhi's municipal authorities launched an extensive crackdown on illegal constructions on Wednesday, razing 41 structures and sealing 61 properties in a sweeping enforcement action that followed the collapse of a hostel building in the capital. According to officials, alongside the demolitions and sealings, the civic body also issued 32 show-cause notices to property owners and builders, asking them to explain why legal action should not be initiated against them. Three additional demolition orders were passed during the operation, signaling the authority's determination to take strict measures against violators.
