The exam authority has reiterated that all students enrolled under the board must download their hall tickets only from the official portal at cbse.gov.in, and warned against accessing third-party websites that may mimic the original site. The admit cards are expected to be made available a few weeks before the commencement of the actual examinations, giving students ample time to verify their details such as exam centre allocation, roll number, and subjects opted for. Parents and school coordinators are being advised to ensure that students cross-check all information printed on the admit card against their school records before the examination season begins. Any discrepancy should be reported immediately to the respective school principal or directly to the board through its grievance portal. CBSE has also reminded schools to submit the final list of candidates and their photographs in the prescribed format well ahead of the release window so that there is no last-minute bottleneck. The board has a long-standing practice of making admit cards available in two parts – first, the initial version containing the student's basic details and photo, followed by an updated version if any corrections are requested and approved. This year, the board expects a significantly higher number of candidates compared to recent sessions, driven by increased enrolment across both urban and rural affiliated schools. Educational analysts note that early release of admit cards reduces anxiety among students and allows families to plan travel and accommodation for those appearing at distant exam centres. Students are being encouraged to carry both a printed copy and a soft copy of the admit card on exam days, along with a valid photo identity proof as mandated by the board's examination handbook.
