The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has extended the deadline for candidates to download the OMR answer sheets of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 2023. The move comes after widespread concerns among aspirants who felt they needed more time to review their response sheets and verify their answers against the official answer key.
Earlier, the commission had set a limited window for candidates to access their scanned OMR sheets, but numerous aspirants complained that technical glitches and heavy traffic on the portal made it difficult to download the documents within the given timeframe. Several candidate groups had approached the commission requesting an extension, citing difficulties in accessing their sheets.
In response, BPSC announced that it is granting additional time for downloading the OMR sheets. This extension will allow candidates to carefully study their marked answer sheets, compare them with the published answer key, and file any challenges or objections if they believe discrepancies exist in the evaluation process.
The BPSC TRE 2023 was conducted to recruit teachers for various posts across Bihar's government schools. Thousands of candidates appeared for the examination, which is considered one of the most competitive recruitment drives in the state. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained after the resolution of any challenges to the OMR evaluation.
Candidates are advised to visit the official BPSC website and download their OMR sheets at the earliest to avoid any last-minute technical issues as the deadline approaches.
