The Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), widely recognized as Bihar Jeevika, has unveiled its revised salary framework for 2025, offering a detailed breakdown of compensation across its organizational hierarchy. Operating under the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Mission, the society plays a pivotal role in empowering rural communities through self-help groups, skill development, and micro-finance initiatives.
At the apex level, the State Mission Manager receives a monthly salary ranging between Rs 67,700 and Rs 2,08,700, placing them in the Senior Time Grades scale. District Mission Managers, who oversee operations at the district level, earn between Rs 44,900 and Rs 1,42,400 per month. Block-level coordinators and resource persons fall into the mid-salary brackets, with monthly remuneration between Rs 35,400 and Rs 1,12,400.
Frontline functionaries form the backbone of the organization. Community Resource Persons, also known as Jeevika Mitra, draw salaries in the range of Rs 19,080 to Rs 63,220 per month. At the grassroots level, Self-Help Group facilitators and village-level workers receive between Rs 12,260 and Rs 36,670 monthly. These positions are critical since these functionaries directly interact with thousands of women's self-help groups across Bihar's rural belt.
Beyond base pay, employees are entitled to various allowances including Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and transport allowances, which vary depending on the location and designation. Medical benefits and pension contributions under relevant government schemes are also part of the employment package.
